Porsche 911 Hybrid: 541 Horsepower – 0 to 100 km/h in 3 Seconds – Porsche 911 Hybrid Car Launched

The long awaited Porsche car is finally here, but not fully out to some part of the world. Porsche 911 Hybrid: The 911 Hybrid car model from Porsche, a company renowned for its luxury cars, has been introduced to the international market.

Porsche 911 Hybrid Car:

The Porsche is the new and first street-legal hybrid Porsche product, it comes in form of the 911 Carrera GTS. This street-legal hybrid Porsche model is one of the mid-cycle facelifts of the gen-seven 911. It features exterior aerodynamic and design changes, additional equipment, and a new interior.

Porsche 911 Hybrid Powertrain Details:

The new T-Hybrid petrol-electric system is a primary additional feature. This system includes a new turbocharged 3.6-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, an electric motor integrated with the gearbox, and a small liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery. Together, these components deliver a drive train with up to 541hp and 610Nm. This represents an increase of 60hp and 40Nm over the previous model. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds, compared to 3.4 seconds in the previous model. It reaches 160 km/h in 6.8 seconds and 200 km/h in 10.5 seconds. The top speed is reported to be 312 km/h.

Vehicle Design Details:

The new model weighs 1595 kg, which is 50 kg more than the hybrid GTS. Of this, 27 kg is due to the battery. However, since the battery is positioned at the front, it is said to improve the weight distribution of the new 911, approximately achieving a 37:63 front-rear ratio. The new Carrera GTS is released in a rear-driven configuration. Meanwhile, Porsche has confirmed that the T-Hybrid system is also compatible with all-wheel drive, suggesting that future editions of the 911 Turbo and Carrera 4 models will benefit from the new drive train technology.

Porsche 911 Facelift: Other New Features?

The front air ducts have been significantly improved, with active louvres that open and close according to the cooling needs of the radiators and brakes. The area below the front bumper of the facelifted 911 is now occupied by radar and ultrasonic sensors. Indicator functions are now integrated into fixed LED matrix headlight clusters. At the rear, the 911 features newly designed OLED taillights, a revised spoiler, and a redesigned diffuser. The interior has not been significantly altered, but the analog tachometer has been removed in favor of a fully digital driver display

Price Details:

The price of the Porsche 911 facelift model is set at 166,895 US dollars in the international market. However, there is currently no information on when this model will be introduced to other part of the world. Porsche 911 Hybrid.
