Rodrigo the Spain midfielder will miss their final group game at Euro 2024 against Albania. This comes as a result of what happened in their last match against Albania, the 27-year-old midfielder Rodrigo received two yellow cards in two games, and the penalty is clear.
He was cautioned during La Roja’s 1-0 over Italy for complaining to the referee.
The Man city player of 27-year-old picked a yellow card as only the team’s captain is allowed to speak with the referee.
He will now miss their Albania clash on Monday, having also been booked in the 3-0 win against Croatia.
The rule has been brought in at Euro 2024 in a bid to crack down on players swarming the referee as decisions are made.
